Special Events Division

The Special Events Division operates within the City Manager’s Office and serves as the central hub for planning, coordinating, producing, and delivering high-quality public events on behalf of the City of Homestead. The division mission is to create safe, inclusive, and engaging experiences that strengthen community pride, support local businesses, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents and visitors.

What We Do

The Special Events Division oversees a diverse portfolio of events ranging from large-scale signature festivals to community-focused programs and ceremonial functions. Working collaboratively with City departments, external partners, sponsors, and community stakeholders, the Division ensures events are well-organized, compliant with City policies, and reflective of Homestead’s unique character.

Signature & Community Events

The Division is responsible for producing and supporting a wide array of events, including but not limited to:

  • Citywide festivals and cultural celebrations
  • Holiday and seasonal experiences
  • Concerts, markets, and family-friendly activations
  • Community engagement events and neighborhood programs
  • Official City ceremonies and commemorations
