WiFi in the Parks

Overview

The City of Homestead is taking a major step to bridge the digital divide by adding free WiFi to 11 of its 13 public parks, as well as the William F. Dickinson and Phichol Williams Community Centers. Approved by the Mayor and City Council, this initiative will provide high-speed internet access, empowering residents to connect to vital online resources, educational tools, and recreational opportunities. By expanding digital access, the City aims to foster greater inclusion and support for its diverse community.
