Water Tower Repainting

Overview

As part of the City of Homestead’s celebration of America’s 250th birthday, the city is undertaking a special project to repaint the iconic water towers located at Harris Field, Wittkop Park, and the Racetrack. This project will not only enhance the appearance of these landmarks but will also feature a vibrant new design showcasing the City of Homestead’s Semiquincentennial logo in honor of America's 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The repainted water towers will stand as a symbol of pride and community spirit, commemorating both the nation's anniversary and Homestead’s rich history. The project aims to give these essential structures a refreshed look while contributing to the city’s ongoing efforts to beautify public spaces.
