Overview
The City of Homestead is expanding and connecting the playground areas at Wittkop Park, located at505 NW 9 St, to create a larger, more unified play space. The new design will remove dividing fencesand add a walkway linking the two existing areas, enhancing accessibility and play opportunities for allvisitors. This improvement will create an inclusive, engaging environment for families and children whilemaximizing the park’s recreational potential.
Timeline
The park playground expansion project is scheduled to begin on August 25, 2025, and is projected to be completed by November 7, 2025.
