For the ninth year in a row, South Florida residents descended upon the Homestead-Miami Speedway in a wave of red, white, and blue to celebrate Independence Day at the City of Homestead’s “Race to the 4th.” Families enjoyed food trucks, refreshments, and kids’ activities on the track grounds while Ricky Valido and the Hialeah Hillbillies provided live music all evening long.
Meanwhile, atop the Champions Club, the annual VIP Event offered unlimited food and soft drinks as well as free face painting and a photo booth sponsored by Showbiz Cinemas. Guests in the Champions Club were also treated to a brief stage program including a moving a cappella rendition of the National Anthem and remarks from Homestead's Mayor & City Council.
The entire evening culminated with one of the best fireworks shows in South Florida—a dazzling display of pyrotechnics synced to a mix of pop hits and patriotic tunes.
