The 10th annual Military Appreciation Day will be a chance to enjoy food, drinks, live music, and performances while checking out vintage and modern military vehicles such as boats, weaponry, and other interactive displays. On Saturday, May 20th, Downtown Homestead will transform into a showcase of all things military from 2pm to 6pm as specialized military vehicles and interactive displays take over. The free community event centers at the newly expanded and renovated Losner Park located at 104 N. Krome Avenue, Homestead, Florida 33030, and aims to better unify civilians with all branches of the military.
The Military Affairs Committee (MAC) will also offer $10 food vouchers to active military members, reserve members, and veterans with a valid military ID. The vouchers are picked up at the MAC tent and can be redeemed at the festival’s food trucks and other participating restaurants and retailers in Downtown Homestead.
