Homestead Public Services recently launched an enhanced customer service process, designed to streamline applications and provide faster, more efficient connection service. As of September 9, 2024, customers who submit requests for power and water hookups, along with payment and all required documentation before noon, will receive same-day service.
This improvement included the introduction of a new document attachment enhancement, making it easier than ever to submit forms. The process has been designed to ensure customers experience seamless service, reducing wait times and enhancing overall satisfaction.
“Our goal is to leverage technology to constantly improve our processes and provide exceptional service to the community,” said City Manager Zerry Ihekwaba. “With this enhancement, we’ve made it more convenient for our customers to get connected without delays.”
Key features of the updated service include:
• Same-day power and water hookups when requests, payments, and required documents are submitted by noon.
• New document attachment enhancement for quick and easy form submissions.
