The City of Homestead, in partnership with Miami-Dade County, is making it easier than ever to navigate the permitting process. This is your opportunity to receive same-day reviews and in-person assistance for select permit types.

When? 

Join us every fourth Thursday of the month from 8 AM to 12 PM.

What is Walkthrough Review?

Walkthrough Services offer fast, face-to-face support from experts in:

  • Homeowners & Small Business Permitting

  • Water & Sewer Division

  • Environmental Division (DERM Core)

Together, they’ll help you with:

  • Municipal Certificates of Use (CU)

  • Municipal Construction Permits

Required Documents

For a Municipal CU:

    • Miami-Dade County Application Form

    • City of Homestead Application Form

    • Signed Lease Agreement

For a Municipal Construction Permit:

    • County Municipal Permit Application

    • City of Homestead Application Form

    • Sealed Plans signed by a licensed design professional
