City of Homestead – Cold Advisory
A Cold Advisory is in effect for South Florida from Saturday, Jan. 31 through Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026. The most critical periods are Sunday and Monday mornings and evenings, 6–10 a.m. and 6–10 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to reduce electricity use during peak hours, stay indoors when possible, dress in layers, keep pets and plants safe, and use heaters properly. Shelters for the homeless population are available through the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust.
