The City of Homestead, Vice Mayor Jenifer N. Bailey, the Southwest Advisory Committee, and Artwalk Homestead proudly invite the community to Art in the Park, a FREE COMMUNITY DAY celebration as part of Artwalk Homestead: Festival of the Arts.
The event will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Losner Park, located at 104 N. Krome Avenue, Homestead, FL 33030.
Art in the Park will transform Losner Park into a lively destination celebrating visual, performing, and creative arts, highlighting the diversity, talent, and culture of Homestead and the greater South Dade region. This free, family-friendly festival is designed to engage all ages with hands-on experiences, live entertainment, and immersive art showcases.
Event highlights include:
- Interactive art stations
- Live music and performances
- Live art demonstrations and murals
- Family activities and a dedicated toddler zone
- Culinary and fashion arts
- Artisan, children’s, and Black vendor markets
“Art in the Park is a celebration of creativity, community, and culture,” said Vice Mayor Jenifer N. Bailey. “By offering a free, accessible event, we are ensuring families, residents, and visitors can come together to experience the arts and support local artists and entrepreneurs.”
Artwalk Homestead: Festival of the Arts reflects the City of Homestead’s commitment to cultural enrichment, community engagement, and economic development by creating inclusive opportunities that showcase local talent in a vibrant public space.
