ATTENTION: This is to make you aware of the regularly scheduled quarterly siren test of the Turkey Point Nuclear Plant’s warning sirens. The sirens will be tested on Wednesday, October 5th and 6th, 2022. Each siren will be tested individually beginning with an announcement that this is only a test, followed by a 20-second air horn sounding, and then another announcement that it was only a test.
This test is required as part of the emergency management alert and notification program. In the event of a real event, information about the incident and protective action would be communicated via the local media outlets.
