The City of Homestead is developing a comprehensive Transportation Master Plan—and residents are invited to help shape the future of mobility in their community.
Led by the City’s Public Works, the multi-year plan will serve as a roadmap to enhance streets, sidewalks, bike paths, and overall transportation safety and connectivity throughout the City of Homestead. The plan considers all modes of transportation and aims to support a safer, more accessible, and efficient transportation network for the entire community.
Public feedback is essential to ensure the plan reflects local needs and priorities. To gather input, the City will host a series of hybrid community meetings—offering both in-person and virtual participation options. These meetings will provide residents with an opportunity to learn about the proposed transportation projects, ask questions, and share concerns or suggestions about existing challenges and future improvements.
The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Phichol Williams Community Center, 951 SE 4 ST, Homestead, FL, 33030, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Additional meetings are scheduled for August 12 and August 27. More details, including virtual access links, will be announced soon.
Your voice matters—help us build a transportation system that works for everyone.
