The City of Homestead proudly invites the community to honor the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces at the 12th Annual Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 5PM to 9PM at Losner Park, located at 104 N Krome Ave, Homestead, FL 33030.
Now in its twelfth year, this beloved, family-friendly event is dedicated to recognizing the sacrifices and service of military personnel past and present. Attendees can look forward to a patriotic evening filled with engaging activities and special tributes, including:
• Letters to Military Stations – Guests can write heartfelt messages to deployed service members.
• Live Music – Local performers will keep the energy high with live entertainment.
• Military Battle Reenactment – Step back in time with a powerful reenactment honoring military history.
• Military Display Vehicles – Get up close with impressive military equipment and vehicles.
• Food Trucks & Vendors – Enjoy a variety of tasty treats and local favorites.
“Military Appreciation Day is one of our most meaningful events,” said Mayor Steve Losner, “Now in its 12th year, it continues to bring our community together to recognize the selfless service of those who protect our freedom and highlights Homestead’s deep connection to the military.”
