Ready Homestead

The City of Homestead has launched a new emergency notification system called Ready Homestead. This service keeps residents informed during emergencies such as hurricane watches or warnings, flash flood warnings, tornado warnings, serious police situations, and other critical incidents.

Through Ready Homestead, you can receive alerts by phone call, text message, and/or email—helping you stay connected when it matters most. Severe weather alerts issued by the National Weather Service are also automatically distributed through the system.

How to Sign Up:

• Option 1: Text HOMESTEAD to 888777 to register to receive Ready Homestead text alerts (text message rates may apply depending on your wireless plan).

• Option 2: Click on the Ready Homestead logo below to access the registration page.

  • Select “Sign Up” just below the login fields.

  • Enter your information and choose your preferred notification methods.

  • Once registered, you’ll begin receiving Ready Homestead alerts whenever an emergency notification is issued.

Already Have an Account?

If you’ve already registered, simply enter your username and password on the registration page and click “Sign In” to access your account.

Ready Homestead is free to the public.
