The City of Homestead is committed to enhancing the quality of life for its residents by providing access to affordable housing opportunities, supporting neighborhood revitalization, and fostering safe, sustainable communities. Through local and federally funded programs, residents can access resources for housing rehabilitation, homeownership assistance, and emergency home repairs.

Emergency Rehabilitation Repair Program
Provides financial assistance to eligible homeowners for urgent repairs that address health and safety concerns. This includes repairs such as roofing, plumbing, and electrical work.

Down Payment Assistance Program

State Housing Initiatives Partnership Program (SHIP)
Provides state funds to create and preserve affordable housing in Florida. SHIP assists with both rental and ownership housing opportunities.
