FY 2024 TRIM Notice
Your 2024 TRIM notice includes an increase in solid waste fees, approved by the City Council and aligned with the Consumer Price Index. This modest rate increase helps us manage rising operational costs while continuing to provide reliable service. The increase amounts to $24 per year, or $2.00 per month, and will take effect on October 1, 2024. The recycling, stormwater, and hurricane fees remain the same, with no increases for the coming year. The fees will be included in your tax bill.

Recycling Helpful Tips
On your designated collection day, please set your bin at the curb by 6:30 pm the night before.

- Glass, bottles, jars
(clear, brown, and green glass) - Metal cans
- Newspapers and inserts
- Plastic beverage bottles
*Do not include tops on any containers.
Report Illegal Dumping
To report illegal dumping, contact the City of Homestead Code Compliance Office by calling (305) 224-5580 or if the illegal dumping is happening in progress contact Homestead PD at (305)247-1535. If the problem is in Miami Dade County, please call 311.
